I really had to adjust the top limb so it would run straight down the limb...I mean it was WAY off. However...once adjusted, they rocked pretty good. For target they'd be ok limbs, but they were loud and seemed to stack up quite a big at my draw length.

One thing I have learned is that adding carbon to the mix doesn't mean it will be better. Adding foam to the mix doesn't either. they have to be done right. you have to thickness, weave type, placement, and a host of other factors all right to make a trad limb that shoots good. That being said, I've shot some limbs recently that blew me away at how smooth they were... I actually felt like it was a 40# set but it was closer to 48# I think and no, and I mean no, stack. Impressive to say the least. BUT... they were also very expensive, high end limbs. For the most part, a good wood/glass limb shoots better for most people.

It depends on the conditions. Sometimes a recurve works best when the fish are spooky, close up, or under lights, and you have to snap shoot. Other times when you have to take long aimed shots a lever bow with some letoff works best. The morph kit is a truly innovative idea. thumup
