New phoenix on e-bay

Postby cyclepath on Thu Jul 29, 2010 6:24 pm

Was checking the onieda bows on e-bay and ran across a new phoenix listed. Not shure who the owner is, it's listed from west coast. I guess anyone interested in a new phoenix can check it out. I believe he is asking 550 for an opening bid and 605 buy it now, wants 67 for shipping. So much for family

so much for family is right....family wouldn't label it as an Onedia.

Someone probably bought it and now are wanting to sell cause they don't know what it is.

Sent this guy a couple of questions about the bow, why was he selling it. His response to me was shocking    Basically he responded with compared to the bow I replaced it with the phoenix was garbage!!! Also he mentioned that his dealings with MBI were not good and he just wanted to sell the bow and try and forget the whole experience. I guess you can't please everbody. Sad :( :( :(

i believe this is the guy that we sent a bow to, and forgot to put a tracker on it and insurance and he said he never received the bow (in my opinon i thought it was odd that once he got his new bow it went up for sale un fired)...i cant say for sure but that sure sounds like BS to me...but shame on us for the mistake..and now he is just upset because this has been brought up before...shame on him, i mean how do you know a bow is garbage if you have never shot it...im just saying..

My experience with the bow that this bow replaced
was horrible. My experience with Monster Bows Inc.
was even worse. I want to sell the bow and forget
everything about the both experiences. (quote)

spoken like a true knuckel head.. just my opinon..as anyone would know that has delt with us straight..this would never be the case..any issue with any bow has always been addressed and corrected or replaced..i would love the opportunity to speak with them personal..because i can say in this case I never had any emails or conversations, and we all know i talked to just about everyone ...lol...but oh well..everyone has their own story and can tell it however they want thumup

but for the record, maybe this isnt the guy...im just saying (west coast and all)..and again someone who has never shot a bow has a great opinon of what it is and is asking alot of money for a so called piece of crap..not very bright to tell people that may want to buy it such things...

Well, all I have to say is this---My phoenix is serial #4 and I had a few issues with it, BUT them were all taken care of. I,m still shooting it and if this bow is a piece of garbage---just give me a bib and line me up at the trough with the hogs

Some people will gripe if You hung them with a new rope.

On the lighter side--- This Guy from Georgia had a visitor from Texas and everytime they saw a critter the texan would always ask what it was and then say how much bigger they were in Texas. so when they saw a snapping turtle that weight about 50 lbs, the Texan ask, what was that and the Georgia Boy said THATS A GEORGIA TICK, YOU GOT ANYTHING IN TEXAS TO TOP THAT

If I had the cash I'd nab it up just to give it a better home than what it's got now :-)->

I know who the seller was and he's just pissed because of the circumstances he helped to create. A mistake by the clerk behind the counter at the post office led to the bow not getting the delivery confirmation and insurance it was supposed to ship with.We ALWAYS ship with those. The post office said the bow had been shipped and delivered. This guy insisted that it never showed up and he's on a "first name basis" with his post carrier. Whatever! We went through the post office to try to confirm ANYTHING or even FIND the bow. If anyone has tried to do this, they have 2 speeds... dead and dead stopped! I wish I was kidding. However, this guy was demanding we replace his bow. I told flatly said that until I got an answer from the PO, i wasn't sending good money after bad, so to speak. So we waited. At a certain point however, I told him I wasn't waiting for the PO anymore and we would send him another bow. His response was he would sell it as soon as it showed up. Again.... whatever!

Let me also say that right from the start, this guy bitched about his bow and compared it to every other bow he owned, sent dozens of pics of stuff he thought was wrong or not right. I finally told him to send it back and we would go through it. It was afterward I found out he completely disassembled the bow as soon as it was in the door and HE screwed it up. We fixed everything and sent it back. Again, he had (phantom?) issues, sent dozens of pics again, and I finally said send it back again. I reset the bow to factory specs AGAIN, replaced cables and string, and this time on the way back, it got lost in shippping. The bow he just sold was the bow we built as a replacement and everythign was new.

In my eyes, we bent over backwards for this guy and now he sits there slamming us. Whatever! Whoever bought that bow got a real nice bow as long as this guy followed through with what he said and sold it as soon as he got it back. If he put a single wrench to it, I'd go over the entire thing. This guy has the Midas touch of F'ing things up....bad!
