I know who the seller was and he's just pissed because of the circumstances he helped to create. A mistake by the clerk behind the counter at the post office led to the bow not getting the delivery confirmation and insurance it was supposed to ship with.We ALWAYS ship with those. The post office said the bow had been shipped and delivered. This guy insisted that it never showed up and he's on a "first name basis" with his post carrier. Whatever! We went through the post office to try to confirm ANYTHING or even FIND the bow. If anyone has tried to do this, they have 2 speeds... dead and dead stopped! I wish I was kidding. However, this guy was demanding we replace his bow. I told flatly said that until I got an answer from the PO, i wasn't sending good money after bad, so to speak. So we waited. At a certain point however, I told him I wasn't waiting for the PO anymore and we would send him another bow. His response was he would sell it as soon as it showed up. Again.... whatever!
Let me also say that right from the start, this guy bitched about his bow and compared it to every other bow he owned, sent dozens of pics of stuff he thought was wrong or not right. I finally told him to send it back and we would go through it. It was afterward I found out he completely disassembled the bow as soon as it was in the door and HE screwed it up. We fixed everything and sent it back. Again, he had (phantom?) issues, sent dozens of pics again, and I finally said send it back again. I reset the bow to factory specs AGAIN, replaced cables and string, and this time on the way back, it got lost in shippping. The bow he just sold was the bow we built as a replacement and everythign was new.
In my eyes, we bent over backwards for this guy and now he sits there slamming us. Whatever! Whoever bought that bow got a real nice bow as long as this guy followed through with what he said and sold it as soon as he got it back. If he put a single wrench to it, I'd go over the entire thing. This guy has the Midas touch of F'ing things up....bad!
